We founded GLC Research because we believe in the long-term potential of web3. At the same time, we recognize that the industry’s reputation remains fragile, and in many cases, for good reason. Web3 is evolving. The 2020 cycle left a lasting impact, with sky-high valuations for projects with little or no intrinsic value. That period created a culture where fundamentals were often ignored, and hype took the lead. Today, the landscape is changing. As the ecosystem matures, more participants are prioritizing quality. There is growing focus on real use cases, sustainable models, and measurable value creation.

That being said, there are still many structural issues in web3. These include a lack of transparency, limited reporting standards, and misaligned incentives between projects and token holders. As a result, token markets often carry a higher risk premium. The exact same company would likely trade at a significantly lower valuation as a token compared to being listed in the equity markets. GLC was created to support this transition. We work with high-integrity teams building products with genuine market fit and a strong commitment to transparency and reporting.

Our mission is to raise industry standards by producing high-quality research, working toward consensus methodologies for token valuation, and building long-term relationships with the teams we support. We help those teams improve their reporting, enhance their visibility, and contribute meaningfully to their growth.

We’re two long-time friends who decided to build something meaningful in an industry we’re passionate about. Our backgrounds combine financial degrees, deep ecosystem knowledge, and hands-on experience with startups and digital assets. More importantly, we share a long-term vision for the space, where fundamentals matter and trust is earned through consistency and transparency. We’re not here to chase trends or inflate short-term narratives. We’re here to help the builders who are in it for the long run and to contribute meaningfully to the evolution of the ecosystem.
